Role summary
This role is for a Level 3 qualified part-time Nursery Nurse at Kiddies Cabin Day Nursery in Maidenhead. You will be responsible for providing daily care, activities, and developmental reviews for children aged 6 months to reception. The position involves supporting children's development, building relationships with parents, and working collaboratively within the team, including with children with special needs.
Essential criteria
- NVQ 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification in line with those listed on the 'qualification finder' section of www.education.gov.uk
- An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Continuous Professional Development
- As stated in the EYFS, a good standard of written and spoken English. Also able to read and understand English such as to follow instructions or interpret a policy
- A knowledge of safeguarding children and child protection and appropriate protocol

- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Previous Experience
- Experience of any work which demonstrates the skills required for the post
- Experience of team work
- Previous relevant work in childcare
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good communication skills
- An understanding of the role of the Key Person
- Knowledge of inclusive practice
- Additional Requirements
- Flexible approach to hours which includes a willingness to attend meetings, training and nursery events as appropriate

Who are we: we are Kiddies Cabin Day Nursery located within Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We pride ourselves on nurturing a positive and supportive environment for our children, and we are looking for aNursery Nurse, Level 3 qualified to join us on a part-time basis.
Working hours: we are open Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 6:00pm, closed on Bank Holidays and during the Christmas and New Year period.
Your role: you will be responsible for a group of children, providing daily care, activities, and completing developmental reviews. You will support children from 6 months to reception age, ensuring high standards of care and learning in a safe, stimulating environment, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage
