Role summary
This role seeks an enthusiastic Clinical Audit Facilitator to support the development and implementation of Quality Improvement measures within the Trust. The successful candidate will provide guidance, assurance, support, advice, and training to staff on clinical effectiveness. They will join the Clinical Effectiveness Team and receive regular supervision and development opportunities. The position requires a reliable, dynamic individual with strong communication skills to contribute to quality improvement across the organisation.
Essential criteria
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent
- Attendance at relevant courses or relevant experience in relation to clinical audit
Desirable criteria
- Educated to degree level
- ECDL
- Attendance at leadership and management course or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Project management qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Clinical Quality/effectiveness/audit project management methods
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements
- Systems which support delivery of evidence-based healthcare
- Clinical assurance and performance management systems
- Knowledge of healthcare performance and assurance
- NHS Improvement
- Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- NHS performance management agenda
- National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)
- Health Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP)
- Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN)
- Patient Experience and Patient Safety
- Whilst working as part of a close team, use own initiative to plan, prioritise and manage own workload without day-to-day supervision
- Able to meet tight deadlines and cope with conflicting demands
- Good organisational skills
- Proven IT skills including Microsoft Word, use of spreadsheets and databases, PowerPoint, email and the Internet
- Numerate
- Teaching/training skills
- Desktop publishing
- NHS experience in relation to performance and assurance
- Clinical Quality/effectiveness/audit project work experience
- Liaising with senior staff in a complex organisation
- Report writing

Job summary
To join our services, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Audit Facilitator, who wants to participate and contribute to the Clinical Effectiveness agenda by supporting the development and implementation of Quality Improvement measures within the Trust, this will include providing guidance and assurance, support, advice and training to staff throughout the organisation.
