Role summary
This role is for an experienced Senior Audiologist to join a busy Audiology service in Bedfordshire. The post holder will conduct hearing assessments and provide rehabilitation for adult patients, including those with complex needs, and support ENT outpatient clinics for both adult and paediatric patients. They will also play a key role in training and developing Audiology trainees, contributing to service improvement.
Essential criteria
- BSc or equivalent in Audiology
- Registration with professional UK body
- Registration with AHCS (RCCP) or HCPC

- HTS module in AR
- MSc in Audiology
- Substantial experience in health organisation
- Evidence of management of complex AR
- Previous supervisory and training role
- Personal skills

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Audiologist to join our busy, friendly, and forward-thinking Audiology service in Bedfordshire.
You will work at a senior level, predominantly within our adult audiology service, based primarily at Bedford Hospital, with opportunities to provide support across our two provider sites, including Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
Your main responsibilities will include conducting hearing assessments and providing associated rehabilitation for adult patients, including those with severe, profound, and complex hearing needs. You will also provide audiology support to ENT outpatient clinics, working with both adult and paediatric patients.
As an experienced Audiologist, you will play an important role in supporting the development of our Audiology trainees through teaching, coaching, and sharing your expertise. Excellent communication skills, a strong patient-centred approach, and behaviours aligned with our Trust's values are essential.
