Role summary
This is an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity for a Band 6 Rotational Senior Physiotherapist based at Queen's Hospital Burton and other community hospitals. The role involves participating in a senior rotational scheme across various clinical settings, assessing and treating patients with diverse and complex conditions, and developing individualised treatment programmes. The post holder will also be part of the Respiratory on-call service, working across 7 days and evenings on a rota system. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 6 Physiotherapy rotation based at Queen's Hospital Burton, Sir Robert Peel and Samuel Johnson Community Hospitals.
The post holder will participate in the senior rotational scheme which involves working in a range of clinical settings as determined by the needs of the physiotherapy service. This is therefore a great opportunity to advance on learnt Band 5 skills whilst developing leadership exposure and knowledge.
The post holder will perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological condition, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver and individualised treatment programme.
You will be required to work as part of the Respiratory on-call service following an induction programme. The team work across 7 days and evenings through a rota system.
Main duties of the job
Rotational opportunities will include Emergency Medicine (including Frailty), Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Stroke, Orthopaedics, Discharge Assessment Unit and Rehabilitation Wards
