Role summary

Job summary
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to work with our leadership team to manage the therapy staffing rosters within the AHP Urgent Care service (Inpatient Therapies). Your role will be to ensure the rosters are accurate (including on call payments, bank holidays, weekend working), assist with calculating leave entitlements (e.g. for staff returning from maternity leave) and assist with unpicking net hours discrepancies. You will work alongside the roster co-ordinator for Care and Support Community (Therapies Outpatients) and cross cover periods of annual leave etc.
This role is a pivotal member of the Therapy Administration team and supports the day to day administration of the Therapies service. You will work with Allied Health Professionals at all levels as well as the senior management team.
The ability to remain calm under pressure, possess excellent communication skills and work to tight deadlines is essential, along with professional manner, team working and ability to prioritise effectively.
Previous experience working with e-rostering systems is essential, together with a working knowledge of Healthroster (Allocate) and Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, is essential. Experience of working in the NHS is desirable.
