Role summary
This role is for an experienced, qualified Bank Community Night Nurse to join East Coast Community Healthcare's team in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area. Working part-time nights, you will deliver unplanned care to patients in their homes and residential care, often in challenging situations. The position requires strong skills in symptom management, end-of-life care, and catheter care, working collaboratively with a Health Care Assistant and other professionals. A pool car is provided for shifts.
Essential criteria
- Professional Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult)
- Diploma in Higher Education (Nursing Practice) or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship/ preceptorship qualification/ ENB 998
- Evidence of working towards a nursing degree
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive level of clinical knowledge and competence within the sphere of practice
- Experience of working in a community setting

Bank Staff Nurses required to join East Coast Community Healthcare's bank workforce. Are you a Registered Nurse looking for more flexibility with the ability to pick and choose your own shifts?
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Registered General Nurses to join our night community nursing teams working in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area as a bank member of staff. You will be based at either Beccles Hospital or James Paget University Hospital and will work with a Health Care Assistant to deliver care to patients across the Great Yarmouth and Waveney areas. The successful candidates will be an experienced practitioner who is able to support patients and their families in challenging situations. As a clinician working out of core hours the role will require an ability to work closely with professionals from other organisations. The night service currently works between the hours of 20.00 and 07.00.
