Role summary
This is an essential administrative role within the Endocrinology department, supporting Patient Pathway Administrators. The role involves managing patient pathways from referrals to clinic bookings, processing correspondence, and liaising with patients and healthcare workers. We are looking for a friendly individual with good communication and methodical skills who is willing to work as part of a team. This position is full-time and permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Support Patient Pathway Administrators with all elements of the patient pathway.
- Handle ERS referrals and clinic bookings.
- Process correspondence related to patient care.
- Liaise with patients and other healthcare workers.
Essential criteria
- Good standard of education (5 GCSEs inc Maths & English)
- Admin Experience
- Experience working with general public
- Strong IT skills
