Role summary
This Healthcare Assistant role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care under the direction of registered nurses on Lickey Ward. You will support patients with personal care, mobility, and rehabilitation activities, as well as undertaking and recording clinical observations. The role requires working a variety of shifts over a 7-day period, including days, nights, and weekends. - Experience of working in a care environment.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to provide limited delegated clinical duties to patients e.g. patient observations.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to challenge poor behaviour.
- Role modelling good behaviour.
- A positive attitude and able to act on feedback.
- Knowledge of care related procedures, clinical observations and relevant legislation.
