Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Physiotherapist with Paediatric experience to join a supportive team at The Den, Chesterfield Royal Hospital. You will provide Specialist Physiotherapy Services to children aged 0-18 with Neurodevelopmental difficulties across North Derbyshire. Responsibilities include managing your own caseload autonomously across various settings, assisting with CPIP's and DCD clinics, and supporting audit projects. The position offers regular clinical supervision and opportunities for professional development.
Essential criteria
- Recognised vocational diploma/degree in physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- HCPC Registration
- At least 2 years postgraduate experience in a broad range of specialties

- Relevant post-qualification training
- Evidence of post graduate work with children with neurodevelopmental difficulties
- Evidence of prioritisation within a designated caseload
- Experience of working in a community setting
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to assess and treat children and young people with physical disabilities
- Knowledge of postural care
- Able to demonstrate empathy and insight into the needs of children with physical difficulties and their families
- Experience of working with children and young people with learning disability.

Job summary

The team provides Specialist Physiotherapy Services to children 0-18 with Neurodevelopmental difficulties, across North Derbyshire.
