Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and highly organised Senior Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and business support to the Liaison Psychiatry Service. The post holder will coordinate administrative functions, manage information systems, and support service performance reporting. They will also supervise administrative staff where required and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders. The role ensures the smooth running of service processes to support high-quality patient care.
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Significant administrative experience within the NHS or healthcare environment
- Experience of minute taking and report preparation.
- Experience of data collection and performance reporting.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience co-ordinating meetings and managing diaries.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of NHS administrative systems.
- Understanding of confidentiality and information governance requirements.
- Advanced IT and data management skills.

- Previous experience within Mental Health or Liaison Psychiatry services.
- Experience supervising administrative staff.
- Knowledge of NHS ESR, RiO, SystmOne or equivalent clinical systems.
- Understanding of NHS performance targets and reporting requirements.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised, and motivated Senior administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who is passionate about delivering high-quality business support and contributing to the effective running of services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating administrative processes, supporting service delivery, and providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to administrative colleagues.
