Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Crisis Worker to join Ynys Saff Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). You will provide immediate emotional support, practical guidance, and advocacy to individuals who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support adults, young people, and families, guiding them through the forensic medical process and ensuring they feel heard and empowered. This role offers a chance to make a genuine and lasting impact on vulnerable individuals' lives.
Essential criteria
- Educated to NVQ level 4 or above
- Relevant experience in mental health setting, criminal justice system, domestic violence setting

- Counselling skills
- Special knowlege
- understand the role of SARC
- knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- experience of working with victims of crime
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults or children
- Experience of working in a multi disciplinary team
- Experience of making decisions and taking appropriate action

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Able to treat people with respect and dignity with an empathic and non judgemental manner
- Able to communicate with distressed service users and their supporters
