Role summary
Join Kingston Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service, part of Your Healthcare, to support children and young people with speech, language, and communication needs at St. Philips School. This role involves delivering therapy programmes, assessing communication needs, and empowering families and school staff. You will work with students aged 9-19, many with additional needs like ASD or language impairment. The position is permanent, term-time only, for 37.5 hours per week, based in Chessington.

- Of Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) intervention planning, outcome measures, and monitoring to ensure support is functional, meaningful, and evidence based.
- Of a wide range of assessment tools and intervention approaches for children and young people with speech, language, and social communication needs, including telehealth delivery.
- Of outcome planning and review for children and young people receiving SEND Support and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Of current educational legislation, the National Curriculum, SEND Code of Practice, Experts at Hand model and SEN reforms, and EHCP processes.

people aged 9 -19 years. Many students have additional needs such as mild to
moderate Autistic Spectrum Disorders, language impairment or emotional issues;
a few have sensory or medical needs.
Working with our experienced Speech and Language Therapy
