Role summary
This role supports the delivery of high-quality NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC) by undertaking and contributing to reviews of care packages for individuals with complex health needs. The post holder will conduct FNC and CHC reviews, including Personal Health Budget reviews, to determine eligibility and ensure appropriate, safe, and high-quality care. Essential criteria
- Educated to master's level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
- Extensive knowledge of and expertise in specialisms relevant to function and role
- Proven and significant leadership experience
- Evidence of post qualifying continuing professional development
- Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement
- Should have an appreciation of the relationship between the Department of Health, NHS England and individual provider and commissioning organisations
- Member of a relevant professional body - NMC - Nurse or Allied Health Professional AHP

Job summary
To support the delivery of high-quality NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC) by undertaking and contributing to all review of care packages for individuals with complex health needs under the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare.
The role involves conducting review including FNC reviews, CHC reviews, including Personal Health Budget reviews and identifying eligibility changes, ensuring that individuals receive appropriate, safe, and high-quality care.
