Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 6 Vascular Occupational Therapist to join the Central Area Occupational Therapy Team. The role involves working with Vascular patients across Glan Clwyd Hospital, providing person-centred care and supporting hospital flow. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of junior staff. This is a full-time secondment/temporary post for 6 months until March 2027.

Job summary
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 6 MONTHS (31/03/2027) TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Band 6 Vascular Occupational Therapist to join the Central Area Occupational Therapy Team.
You will be working with Vascular patients across Glan Clwyd Hospital. This post is 37.5 hours per week on a secondment/temporary basis until the end of March 2027.
You will have excellent organisation and time management skills and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of this busy service and to support during the transition to the new site.
Main duties of the job
These posts offer an opportunity to develop both clinical and managerial skills. Significant experience of working within vascular services is essential. You will play a critical role in the delivery of this service, ensuring person centred care is delivered in a timely manner whilst also supporting hospital flow. The role requires the successful applicant to work flexibly across sites dependent on service needs.
