Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists. Candidates with IBMS accredited Biomedical Science BSc Hons or similar, with HCPC registration may also be considered for this post. Newly graduated candidates, if successful, will be required to complete their Specialist Portfolio prior to progression to Band 6. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate team spirit, initiative, flexibility and have the enthusiasm to train further.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a new facility with state of the art equipment: The core laboratory is equipped with Sysmex haematology and coagulation analysers, connected by Roche cobas 8100 pre analytics and track. The special investigations laboratory is equipped with a Benson Viscometer, Sarstedt Inversa and Tosoh HPLC systems, and the blood bank is equipped with Grifols technology.
