Role summary
This role involves managing a highly complex caseload of service users, providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based care programmes. The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team, delivering complex interventions and contributing to service quality and safety. Responsibilities also include fostering networking and acting as a positive role model for staff development. The role requires adherence to organisational systems and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Hold a highly complex caseload within the team, including risk management and clinical governance.
- Provide clinical supervision to trainees and less experienced practitioners.
- Formulate specialised programmes for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of service users' psycho-social difficulties.
- Communicate highly complex condition-related information concerning assessment, formulation, and treatment plans.
- Provide cover for any relevant rota (duty/on-call/clinical).
- Demonstrate a personal duty of care for equipment & resources.
Essential criteria
- Ability to travel
- Degree level as a minimum plus developed specialist and practical knowledge equating to postgraduate degree/ Masters level
- Registration with HCPC or relevant body as a Clinical Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Social Worker, Nurse, Psychotherapist, or Systemic Therapist
- High level of skill and knowledge in safeguarding and risk management
- Personal duty of care in relation to equipment or resources
- Ability to manage own clinical case load

Job summary
The post holder will hold a caseload of highly complex service users.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of evidenced based care to a group of service users, conscious of their changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity, working collaboratively, with other clinicians and stakeholders.
You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of outcome focussed, evidence based, and complex interventions and responsible for the formulation and delivery of specialised programmes of care.
The post holder will contribute to the quality, safety and continuous improvement of services provided to service users and their families.
