Role summary
This role is for a dedicated and compassionate Community Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team. You will work with adults experiencing eating disorders within a specialist Community Eating Disorder Service. Responsibilities include managing a complex caseload, delivering high-quality clinical services, and providing therapeutic interventions. The role involves care coordination and working alongside other team members to support therapeutic groups.
Key responsibilities
- Work in an identified adult community eating disorder pathway.
- Deliver a high-quality clinical service to patients and their families.
- Manage a caseload and provide care coordination.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions in accordance with agreed care plans.
- Take responsibility for the management of a complex caseload, including specialist assessment and care planning.
- Assess patient's individual care needs, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with NMC
- Experience of working with adults with an Eating Disorder
- Experience of working with people who have difficulty in engaging with services and have complex mental health needs.
Desirable criteria
- Psychological intervention Qualification including EMDR, CBT-ED.CBT - E. CBT -T, Family Interventions, CAT, DBT
- Experience of working in community setting and making decisions autonomously
