Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for motivated Physiotherapists to join Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The rotational posts offer experience across a wide range of clinical areas, including Trauma and Orthopaedics, ITU/Respiratory, and Neurological Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy treatment to a diverse caseload of acute patients. Both permanent and fixed-term contracts are available, offering flexibility and professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan and deliver physiotherapy treatment to a diverse caseload of acute patients.
- Participate in the training and development of staff.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives.
- Provide teaching, supervision, support and training.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Experience of a wide range of clinical placements, including core areas
- Experience of NHS systems and procedures
- Ability to carry out full range of duties (including travel between various bases and home visits in a timely manner)
- Ability to organise and prioritise/good time management
Desirable criteria
- Member of CSP
- Presentation skills
- Welsh language speaking/listening skills at Level 3 or above

We have exciting opportunities for motivated, enthusiastic and committed Physiotherapists to join the team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. These rotational posts offer experience across a wide range of clinical areas, including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly, ITU/Respiratory, Acute Medicine, Neurological Rehabilitation, Acute Stroke, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Outpatients and Community Reablement. The successful post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning and delivering physiotherapy treatment to a diverse caseload of acute patients. We have a variety of permanent, temporary and bank contracts available, offering flexibility and excellent opportunities for professional development.
We have 2 posts available - 1 post is permanent, the second post is a fixed term/secondment for 12 months to cover a career break. Anyone wishing to apply for the post as a secondment must seek approval from their Line Manager before applying.
