Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietetic Assistant to join the Adult Community Dietetic Team. The successful candidate will conduct telephone and face-to-face reviews, manage administrative duties, and liaise with healthcare professionals. Experience in a UK health or social care setting and an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) are essential.

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and

enthusiastic Dietetic Assistant to join our Adult Community Dietetic Team.

Applicants should have experience working within a UK

health or social care setting supporting people with complex health needs. An

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or relevant experience

gained in a healthcare, community or care environment, is essential. Previous

experience within a dietetic service is desirable.

Working under the guidance of a registered Dietitian, the

successful candidate will support the delivery of safe and effective

nutritional care within agreed policies, procedures and care pathways.

The role will support adults with a wide range of

nutritional needs, including those requiring home enteral tube feeding and oral

nutritional support. Key areas include supporting people living with Motor

Neurone Disease (MND), young people transitioning from Children's to Adult

Dietetic Services, and patients considering or preparing for tube feeding.

We are a friendly, supportive team committed to staff

development through regular supervision, training and learning opportunities.

Equipment is provided to support flexible and hybrid working where appropriate.
