Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. The appointee will join a dynamic and motivated team to augment the provision of specialist colorectal services to a population of approximately 350’000.
The Colorectal Unit at Raigmore is a friendly and inclusive team and currently consists of 7 Colorectal Surgeons, 1 Physician Associate, 1 Cancer Single-Point-Of-Contact healthcare professional and 4 Clinical Nurse Specialists. The team provides a full range of colorectal services for patients across NHS Highland and NHS Western Isles, including Robotic-assisted surgery (RAS), Colon & Rectal Cancer resection, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Pelvic Health, Proctology and Advanced Endoscopy.
