Role summary

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join the Research Team which will be based at the Horton General Hospital with expectation of supporting research activity at the Headington Hospitals. The post holders will be required to travel between sites for training and team meetings on an adhoc basis.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Trauma Research Team, supported by the Team Lead. The portfolio of studies will extend beyond the trauma portfolio depending on the requirements of other research teams.
Hours - the post holder will be expected to work core hours between 730 and 1700 Monday to Friday. However, these may be negotiated if required by a trial protocol.
Main duties of the job
You will be involved in identifying patients suitable for entry into clinical trials by attending clinics, screening medical notes, reviewing consultant referrals, and participating in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings. You will contribute to the informed consent process, acting as a point of support for patients and their families, and assist in coordinating the research patient pathway from screening through to trial completion.
