Role summary
This role involves providing high-standard physiotherapy services to musculoskeletal outpatients, offering specialist advice, and acting as an expert on musculoskeletal conditions. Key responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to musculoskeletal outpatients.
- Provide specialist advice regarding musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
- Act as a source of expertise on the management of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Be responsible for the safe and correct use of physiotherapy equipment within the department.
- Supervise more junior and student physiotherapists, physiotherapy technical instructors and assistants.
- Interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical facts to form an accurate diagnosis and prognosis in a wide range of highly complex neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.
Essential criteria
- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate learning and continued professional development
Desirable criteria
- Significant post-registration experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological or community patients
- Experience supervising or supporting junior staff, assistants or students

Job summary
The post holder will:
