Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the new Health Protection Service (HPS) in North Wales. The HPS will work in partnership to respond to health protection measures and threats, evolving over time. The role involves providing holistic nursing care, working collaboratively with others, and participating in staff education and development. The post holder will work either at a designated base or as part of an agile, patient-facing outreach team.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse within the new Health Protection Service (HPS)
The newly created HPS will work in partnership, to respond to health protection measures and threats as required. It is envisaged that the HPS will evolve over the year and the post holder will work, either at their designated work base or as part of an agile, patient-facing, outreach team at any location within North Wales.
The Health Protection Team will work alongside the other agencies such as Public Health Wales to protect and improve health and well being and reduce health inequalities for the people of North Wales.
The Deputy Manager will support the Team Manager and Clinical Service Manager in the clinical, operational management and staff development of the HPS.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward thinking experienced nurse with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
