Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist expertise in the development, configuration, testing and optimisation of electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) systems.
- Support the delivery of safe, effective and efficient digital medicines services by undertaking system configuration, validation, testing and user support activities.
- Contribute to system improvements, upgrades and deployments, supporting service development and ensuring compliance with clinical safety standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for digital medicines systems, providing advice, support and training to clinical and operational staff.
- Maintain a level of clinical practice within their area of professional registration.
Essential criteria
- o Registered healthcare professional (e.g. Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Nurse, AHP, Paramedic)
- o Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience
- o Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to role
