Essential criteria
- *Dietitian with qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics (BSc, PG diploma or MSc)
- *Registration as Dietitian with Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- *Good level of written or spoken English
- *Evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria
- *Member of British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- *Member of relevant specialist interest groups (BDA or other)
- *Member of British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- *Member of relevant specialist interest groups (BDA or other)
- *Will have had relevant clinical experience as part of undergraduate training
- *Sound knowledge of Clinical Dietetics
- *Knowledge of different types of nutritional support
- *Demonstrates interest/enthusiasm in relevant clinical areas
- *Demonstrates an understanding of audit, clinical effectiveness and its importance in the provision of a quality service
- *Demonstrates an awareness of local needs e.g. ethnic minority and low income groups

Job summary
Are you an enthusiastic dietitian looking for an exciting, varied role within an acute hospital setting?
Whether you're newly qualified, finishing your degree, or looking for a new challenge this post will suit a dynamic band 5 Dietitian looking to experience a varied caseload within a supportive and friendly team.
We have job opportunities across teams who cover: Acute Medicine; Healthcare of Older People and Stroke; Surgery and Specialist Medicine which includes Infectious Disease and Respiratory. Each of these teams have Band 6's and Band 7's to be able to provide clinical supervision, support and guidance.
We are part of a large friendly department with opportunities to complete attachments in a number of specialist dietetic areas including oncology, renal, HIV, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, weight management and bariatrics, gastroenterology, paediatrics and community nutrition support.
Alongside the senior colleagues within our teams we also have a wealth of specialist dietetic staff across our department to be able to provide support as you build your clinical knowledge.
