Job summary

Kirklees Intensive Home-Based Treatment Team are

seeking to recruit a Band 7 Psychotherapist to work within their team. This

full-time post is based at Folly Hall Mills in Huddersfield, and the role will

cover both North and South Kirklees and will predominantly be within patients

homes or community settings.

You would be working with a well-established

multidisciplinary team that supports staff to develop both personally and

professionally. We have a mix of CPNs, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Social Care

Professionals and Occupational Therapists, also a TIPD lead, Dual Diagnosis and

Psychiatrists.

IHBT are an alternative to hospital admission and

work closely with service users, their carers and families to maintain

someones safety in the community. IHBT also provide a gatekeeping role for

hospital admissions and work with the wards to provide early discharge. You

will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team and be able

to assess risks for Working Age Adults.

IHBT provide rapid assessment at times of high risk

or mental health relapse and work collaboratively to provide a care plan with

the service user.

IHBT provide short term intervention and identify

longer term care needs through the Multi-Disciplinary Team Approach
