Role summary
This role provides comprehensive receptionist and administrative support to the Older Adults Team East. The post holder will manage correspondence, process referrals, and handle various administrative tasks. Essential criteria
- NVQ level II in Business Admin or equivalent, plus relevant experience, or prepared to work towards Or RSA Typing II, plus relevant administration experience, or prepared to work towards
- GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
- Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in dealing with a range of disciplines and agencies
- Experience of dealing with sensitive situations
- Sound up to date knowledge and experienced in the use of Microsoft packages to include word, excel and outlook
- Working knowledge of Data Protection Act and Information Governance

- Experience of working in a client facing organisation
- Skills & abilities
- Ability to take notes at meetings
- Managing busy phonelines and taking accurate messages
- Previous Experience of working in a Health or Public Sector environment
- Working knowledge of RIO

Job summary
To provide a comprehensive receptionist/team administrative support service to the Older Adults Team East. To operate within the Division's/Team's systems and act as part of a wider administration team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative and receptionist duties, which includes the receipt of all correspondence, including referrals, ensuring the appropriate action is taken. Processing of letters, reports, case summaries and other correspondence as required by the MDT/clinical team.
To serve as the focal point of contact for the Older Adults Team, coordinating the distribution of information, managing enquiries, and relaying messages accurately and efficiently. The post holder will also provide reception cover, acting as the first point of contact for patients, carers, visitors and healthcare professionals. To provide cross cover and support to other teams in the event of absence planned or otherwise. Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals and staff within the trust, GP's, Social workers, Service users, Carers and other appropriate agencies.
