Role summary
This Band 5 Staff Nurse role at Great Ormond Street Hospital involves delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to children and young people in the Respiratory Wards. - Relevant nursing qualification
- Evidence of ongoing professional development linked to demonstrable competencies

- Experience of having worked with acute/chronically sick children or specialised transferable skills
- Understanding of professional and current issues in children's nursing
- Understanding of the importance of research and evidence-based practice
- Basic knowledge of computer skills

- Understating or evidence of fulfilling requirements for Revalidation

You'll be joining a large team across the two GOSH Respiratory Wards (Leopard and Kangaroo), which focuses on children and young people requiring respiratory medicine acutely and chronically. It has 23 beds, including a high-dependency unit (HDU), dedicated beds for children and young people with cystic fibrosis and transitional care beds for long term ventilated children and young people. You work will help maintain excellent patient outcomes and a positive, supportive ward culture.
