Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for two Band 6 registered mental health nurses to join a new All-Age Nurse-led Psychiatric Liaison Team (AANLPLT) in NHS Orkney. The team will provide urgent and same-day assessments and management plans for individuals in acute mental health crisis/distress, receiving referrals from various hospital departments and GPs. Postholders will also offer post-discharge support and collaborate with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) on an out-of-hours on-call service. This role involves contributing to the continuous review and quality improvement of the new service.
