Role summary

This role involves coordinating temporary staffing requests to ensure services deliver outstanding patient care. You will match workers to shifts, build relationships with staff and managers, and ensure staffing needs are met efficiently across the Trust. The position requires an organised, proactive, and customer-focused individual with excellent communication and IT skills, who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. This permanent, part-time role includes working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent experience.
  • ECDL qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Considerable experience of processing high volumes of bookings onto a Rostering system or equivalent.
  • Considerable experience of using a variety of software packages commonly used within an office environment.
  • Experience of accurate data input and working with a high attention to detail.
  • Experience of using and working knowledge of electronic rostering systems.
  • Good working knowledge of excel to be able to create and manipulate data.
  • Understanding of NHS temporary staffing processes and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely and effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation.
  • Able to appropriately update and inform managers and workers in accordance with the temporary staffing processes and procedures.
  • Ability to scan, copy and complete general administrative tasks to an accurate and consistently high standard.
