Role summary

Pebble Lodge is seeking an enthusiastic Mental Health Support Worker to join their team in a 10-bed general adolescent unit for young people aged 13-18 with acute mental health problems. Job summary

Are you enthusiastic and motivated? Pebble Lodge are looking for a Mental Health Support Worker to join their team.

Pebble Lodge is a purpose built 10 bed general adolescent unit for young people aged between 13 and 18 years, who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems. They also provide an education and day programme service for these young people.

As a Mental Health Support Worker you will carry out assigned tasks which have been identified by the trained nursing staff in relation to young people's needs, assist in organised activities for young and help to create a safe atmosphere and provide emotional support as and when necessary for the young people in the unit and to report any relevant information. This involves being a part of the Multi-disciplinary team meetings and risk management meetings.

This is a full time however part time hours with a minimum of 25 hours would be welcomed. You will be required to work a range of flexible shifts across the week. Weekends/nights at enhanced pay.
