An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Forth Valley Haematology team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse who will embrace this dynamic and challenging role. The role will involve holistic management of the haematology patient in outpatient, day medicine and ward setting, including chemotherapy prescribing and management of toxicities, managing the clinical care of patients within the haematology ward and development of advanced clinical skills such as Bone Marrow Biopsy. Ideally the applicant will already be a competent Advanced Nurse Practitioner in acute care with either experience of, or an interest in haematology. The post holder will provide direct patient management in partnership with senior medical staff, have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills in acute care.
