Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing retrospective Continuing Healthcare reviews & Appeals, ensuring every case is assessed fairly, lawfully and compassionately in line with the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare.
As a senior member of the team, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end management of PUPoC cases and Appeals.
- Quality assure assessments, recommendations and decision rationales.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex retrospective reviews.
- Monitor performance, case progression and statutory timescales.
- Support backlog reduction whilst maintaining quality and consiste
