Job summary
We have
an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Hand Therapist at Princess Alexandra
Hospital NHS Trust to join the Occupational Therapy Department. You will be
responsible for providing skilled team leadership in planning and delivering
high standards of hand therapy assessment, management, treatment, and advice to
patients following elective hand surgery, acute trauma, or chronic conditions.
You will manage and support the advanced assessment and treatment of patients
with complex or multi-pathology presentations, determining the most appropriate
care pathways in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT). You will
work as an autonomous professional, adhering to the standards of care and
professional conduct set by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
or the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
