Role summary
This role is for a Group Facilitator Recovery Worker within Inclusion Recovery Hampshire, a drug and alcohol treatment service. Essential criteria
- Foundation Degree/HNC in related field which may include counselling, social work, nursing, psychology, social studies
- Experience of working in the drug and alcohol field
- Experience in facilitating groups or programmes
- Solid understanding of safeguarding and risk management

- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use (travelling between sites in the course of the role)
- A commitment to, and understanding of, harm reduction & recovery approaches when working with people who use Drug and Alcohol
- Strong communication skills, including motivational and trauma-informed approaches

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, caring individual to join our teams within Inclusion Recovery Hampshire, a drug and alcohol treatment and support service.
We are currently recruiting an experienced group work facilitator, working alongside a teams of experienced Recovery Workers across our Winchester and New Forest sites.
The role may involve occasionally covering for other group facilitators in Hampshire, as well as supporting the hub Recovery Workers based on service need.
We have a bespoke structured group work programme which the Group Facilitator will be responsible for delivering, as well as additional groups based on the needs of clients - this can include SMART groups, auricular acupuncture, mindfulness, meditation and substance specific groups. The successful candidate will be provided with relevant training to support the facilitation of groups and will be a key part of our quality assurance processes around groups; participating in groupwork audits, providing peer to peer feedback to other facilitators and co-facilitating groups with oth
