Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated dietitian to join the community team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, working within the Intermediate Care Team and Diabetes Team. The role involves providing dietetic services to adults with Type 1 and gestational diabetes, including group education sessions and MDT clinics. The successful candidate will also support general dietetic clinics using evidence-based practice. This post is suitable for newly qualified or experienced dietitians.
Essential criteria
- BSc Nutrition & Dietetics degree or equivalent or soon to qualify
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Evidence of a clinical portfolio
- Up to date knowledge of dietetic practice
- IT literate
- Demonstrate an awareness of current relevant research
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good motivational skills
- Able to maintain judgement under pressure
- Ability to interpret clinical policies and guidelines within a highly specialist field to meet the needs of own client group
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently
- Ability to reflect and appraise own performance

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic dietitian, to join the community team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) in East and North Hertfordshire, delivering a service as part of the Intermediate Care Team and Diabetes Team.
The post requires a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purpose is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
This post would suit a soon to qualify or newly qualified dietitian, or one with experience.
