Job summary

St Peter's Hospital is a specialist service supporting individuals living with degenerative neuropsychiatric conditions, acquired brain injuries, complex neurological disorders, dementia, and mental health conditions. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and help people achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete functional assessments using both top-down and bottom-up approaches.
  • Assess and support activities of daily living, including washing, dressing, feeding, mobility, transfers, and community access.
  • Deliver individual and group occupational therapy interventions.
  • Support patients to maintain independence, social participation, and quality of life.
  • Contribute to specialist rehabilitation programmes within neurological and mental health settings.
  • Assist with assessment and provision of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
