Job summary
We currently have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our rotations at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH).
Applications are welcome from physiotherapy students due to qualify, qualified therapists waiting for HCPC registration or those who already have experience and are looking to embrace something new.
Flexible working requests will be considered at the point of interview.
Our rotations are 4 months in duration and include:
- General Medicine and short stay wards
- Emergency services and admission avoidance
- Critical care
- Surgery
- Cardiorespiratory medicine
- Trauma orthopaedics
- Elective orthopaedics
- Hyper-acute/acute stroke unit
- Neuro-rehabilitation at the Bradley Unit (based in Woking Community Hospital)
- Stroke Early Supported Discharge (community-based)
- Paediatrics (in-patient and out-patient across 3 sites)
- MSK outpatients (across 4 sites)
- Pelvic Health
The rotations will offer you the opportunity to work within different settings and with varied MDT professionals allowing you to develop your core clinical skills and interpersonal communication skills.
There is an established formal supervision and appraisal process as well as robust in-house training within each tea
