Role summary
This role involves providing evidence-based, women-centred midwifery care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering excellent care, working flexibly within the Midwifery Service, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Essential criteria
- Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with degree or diploma (or expected to be active by December 2026 following successful completion of a Midwifery Degree)
- Newly qualified midwife who has successfully completed a midwifery training programme in England and hold relevant NMC UK registration, or to third-year student midwives who have undertaken their training in England and are currently working towards completion of their degree, with expected NMC UK registration by December 2026. This reflects the allocated funding available through the Graduate Guarantee.
