Role summary

Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills to support intermediate care interventions alongside our friendly multidisciplinary team on Thorndon Ward at Brentwood Community Hospital. As a rehab assistant you will work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists completing exercise programmes and practising functional tasks. You will have an important role in helping our patients achieve their rehab goals through individual sessions and exercise groups

The applicant needs to be someone who understands the uniqueness of older people and is able to work within an inter-professional team to deliver a rehabilitative service to meet the patients needs. Previous experience in health or social care is preferrable for this role, but not essential.
