Role summary
This role is for a Practice Nurse to join a busy, rural dispensing practice in Chulmleigh and Winkleigh, Devon. You will work alongside an existing nursing team, providing extended access evening cover on rotation. The position involves delivering evidence-based nursing services, including public health, screening programmes, chronic disease management, and immunisations. The successful candidate will support other healthcare professionals and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Job summary
We are looking to recruit a Practice Nurse to join our busy, rural dispensing practice with surgeries at both Chulmleigh and Winkleigh.
Own transport essential.
You will be working alongside our existing team of 4 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and Nurse Associate. You will be expected to provide extended access evening cover on rotation as part of this role.
We are all committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills and working within the boundaries of our competence. We aim to provide evidence-based care and work collaboratively with colleagues within our team, our attached community team and secondary care providers.
Wallingbrook Health Group is part of the Mid Devon Health Primary Care Network, a group of 3 local GP practices.
Applicants will be required to cover for holiday and sickness leave.
Knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage but not essential.
