Role summary

Key responsibilities

- Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure timely completion of risk assessments.
- Provide support for new staff, participate in teaching student nurses, and take charge of shifts when required.

Essential criteria
- Has a high level of understanding of patients needs

- Has some knowledge and skills of palliative care

- RGN level 1 trained nurse
- Palliative care study days/courses
- Up to date NMC registration
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- Good time management skills
- Minimum of 1 years general nurse experience
- Experience in caring for patients with life limiting illnesses
- Experience of collaborative working
