Role summary
This is a permanent, part-time Senior Physiotherapist role within the Band 6 rotational programme at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. The position involves working 18.75 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with Worcestershire Royal Hospital as the base. The successful candidate will rotate across all three Trust sites, gaining diverse clinical experience in areas like respiratory care, orthopaedics, stroke, and musculoskeletal outpatients. The role requires participation in on-call, weekend, and 7-day working rotas.
Essential criteria
- Appropriate and broad experience in core rotations
- (can demonstrate a broad range of knowledge from different specialities)
- Experience of working in an acute NHS environment
- Evidence of relevant and recent CPD
- Supervision and development of assistants and students
Desirable criteria
- Training of other MDT members
- Active participation in audit or research
- Diploma or degree in physiotherapy
- Health Profession Council Registration
- Appropriate postgraduate qualifications / training
- Member of CSP
- Professional manner
- Team player

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Approachable and consistent

- Able and willing to commute beween sites
- Able and willing to work across 7 days and take part in on call duties through a 24 hour period

Job summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join our Band 6 rotational programme at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an established Band 6 looking for a fresh challenge, or a suitably experienced Band 5 ready to take the next step in their career.
This is a permanent, part time position of 18.75 hours to be worked across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week, with Worcestershire Royal Hospital as the official base. Successful candidates will be expected to rotate across all three of our Trust sites including community rotations.
