Role summary
This Programme Officer role involves joining a dynamic partnership team to transform Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Neurodiversity services across the Bradford District and Craven system. Key responsibilities
- Support service delivery, improvement and development within a dynamic partnership team.
- Contribute across four key commissioning and contracting themes: Plan and inform, Design and deliver, Facilitate and drive, Buy and report.
- Work across organisational boundaries to support change and lead partnership engagement.
- Provide programme management support to senior colleagues.
- Help develop and embed new ways of working and strengthen system-wide collaboration.
- Play a key role in driving integration and fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working in a Programme role
- Evidence of continuous personal and professional development
- Willingness to undergo further training and development for service need
- Experience of working at a similar level and in a similar field of work supporting service delivery, improvement and development.
- Evidence of involvement in successful transformation and organisational change
- Experience of project management and working within a project team to manage deliverables
- Experience of successfully engaging and influencing people at all levels within an organisation through collaborative working
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders, including senior management teams and clinicians, to deliver change
- Experience of working with external stakeholders
- Experience of interpreting complex information, distilling key messages and themes and presenting a position and options
- Record of delivering to organisation/ statutory deadlines
- Experience of managing and motivating a team/virtual team and reviewing performance
Desirable criteria
- Relevant management or professional qualification
- Project management qualification
- Related experience of working in a NHS or social care environment
- Experience of working with commissioners in NHS and Local Authority organisations at a senior level
- Highly experienced in developing and working with quality and performance monitoring and reporting systems
