Role summary

Job summary
Are you looking for an opportunity to be at the centre of innovation in how we support our Staff where they experience violence and abuse? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Manager to join the Clinical Governance & Quality Assurance Team at Sussex Partnership NHS foundation Trust. This is a 9 month temporary, full-time opportunity for a skilled individual, to join our established team to provide a psychologically safe space for direct contact with Staff and support the development of a centralised approach to our post incident support offer.
As the Trusts' Violence & Abuse Support Manager you will be responsible for identifying the level of impact Staff have suffered and provide an appropriate direct contact response following each incident, and to signpost to any relevant services which may support Staff. You will also deliver ongoing innovation to the centralisation of our post incident support offer, which will include engagement with Managers within Divisions and Specialist Leads and Managers across the Trust.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of creating psychological safety and aiding Staff wellbeing, as well as understanding the regulatory standards and underpinning legislation in relation to violence, abuse and Staff wellbeing.
