Role summary
This role involves joining the Endoscopy administration team as a Pathway Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for managing the Endoscopy waiting list service, acting as a point of contact for patients and medical staff, and inputting patient information. The position requires strong IT literacy and experience in an administration role. Occasional reception cover is also part of the duties.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated individual to join our Endoscopy administration team in a Pathway Co-ordinator role.
You should be educated to a good standard of English to GCSE or equivalent and have an advanced level of IT literacy with experience of using a range of IT applications.
To provide an efficient Endoscopy waiting list service to the consultants and their teams working flexibly with or alongside waiting list staff, consultants and other teams as required. Covering the reception area will also be part of this role on occasion.
You must have read the contents of the Job Description and feel confident that you are able to fulfil the requirements.
There is one post available:
Permanent role 22.5 hrs per week.
Monday 9.15-5.15, Tuesday 8-4, Wednesday 9.15-5.15. with one Saturday a month 7.30-15.30. On this week you will not work the Wednesday
Main duties of the job
- To act as the point of contact for patients and medical staff on behalf of the consultant and his/her team ensuring that all queries are resolved with skill, sensitivity and in a courteous andprofessional manner.
