Role summary
This role is for a Band 7 Neonatal Governance / Risk Management Lead within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The post holder will guide the development and delivery of the governance agenda, providing practical support to staff to improve patient care and safety. They will also lead the implementation of risk management arrangements, ensuring incidents are reported, analysed, and populated onto risk registers. The unit is a regional level 3 intensive care unit with 42 cots, providing advanced care for premature and critically unwell newborns.
Essential criteria
- 1 st Level Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife.
- Significant post registration neonatal experience
- Educated to First Level degree (level 6 or above)
- Post Registration Qualification in Neonatology
- Risk management
- Conflict resolution
- Employs a methodical and systematic approach to work involving close attention to detail
- Attitude, Aptitude
- Effective role model, demonstrating NNUH's PRIDE values of People focussed, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence
- Demonstrates understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
