Role summary

This role is for an enthusiastic Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join a friendly team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The position involves assisting Pharmacy Technicians with dispensing and supplying medicines. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is capable of working as part of our friendly team. The position involves working closely with the Pharmacy Technicians to assist in the dispensing and supply of medicines for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In addition to this the successful candidate will work in the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic taking and testing blood samples.

Main duties of the job

Key elements of the role are:

To assist in the dispensing and supply of medicines for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

To carry out and report on routine finger prick blood tests for patients attending the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic.

To act as receptionist in the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic and pharmacy reception when required.
