Role summary

This role involves facilitating healthy living initiatives for service users within the Complex Psychosis Pathway. The advisor will assess, plan, and deliver interventions focusing on physical activity, healthy eating, weight management, smoking cessation, and brief drug/alcohol interventions. This is an exciting opportunity to facilitate healthy living initiatives addressing health inequalities within our service user population as part of the Complex Psychosis Pathway for Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a motivated, innovative and enthusiastic healthy living advisor to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The healthy living advisor role focuses on assessing, planning, and delivering healthy living interventions to service users to enable people to improve their mental and physical health.

We are looking for a practitioner who is qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in an area relevant to the post (e.g. nutrition). Please note that we require the post holder to have a Level 2/3 qualification in Fitness Instruction and be CIMSPA registered.
