- Post graduate dysphagia experience
- Demonstrates ability to be a good team member providing mentorship, clinical supervision and second opinions

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to offer a 1.0 Fixed Term contract (5 mths) SLT role to work in the acute SLT team at the Royal Derby Hospital.
We are looking for an HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech and Language Therapist. As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way. You will provide a specialist clinical role, in the acute inpatient service with the UHDB SLT team at the Royal Derby Hospital.
You will be responsible for managing dysphagia across the hospital across medical, surgical, respiratory inpatient wards.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech and Language Therapist, with developed skills, working with acute inpatients. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in developing service provision and clinical pathways relating to this specialism. You will have a commitment to providing a high standard of patient focussed care and be a strong team player, with the ability to lead and influence others.
You will be employed by Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS FT as part of their SLT service and as such have access to a team of colleagues with a range of skills and commitment
